Med Spas

The cheapest new client a med spa will ever get already sat in your chair.

Most med spas pour money into new-client ads while their best revenue walks out the door and forgets to come back. Botox wears off on a schedule. Your marketing should too.

Every med spa owner knows the number that matters: how many clients come back. Most marketing budgets still act like they don't.

Here's the pattern we see across aesthetics practices. A new client finds you on Instagram or Google, books a first treatment, loves it, and leaves happy. Then nothing happens. No reminder, no plan, no reason to book. Three or four months later, right when their results start to fade, they scroll past a launch special from the place down the road and book there instead.

You paid to acquire that client. Someone else got the lifetime value.

Neurotoxin wears off on a schedule. Filler softens on a schedule. Skin cycles on a schedule. The practices that grow put their marketing on that same schedule.

The rebooking calendar is the real growth engine

Treatments come with their own timeline, and that timeline is a marketing plan you don't have to invent:

  • At checkout: book the next appointment before they leave. A front desk script beats any ad. "Most clients come back around week twelve. Want me to hold a Thursday for you?"
  • Week ten: a short personal text, not a blast. "Hi Jen, you're coming up on twelve weeks. Want your usual time with Ashley?" One tap to book.
  • Week fourteen, no booking yet: a softer nudge with something useful, like what to expect with a touch-up, or a new treatment that pairs well with what they already get.
  • Week twenty: the win-back. This is the one most practices never send, and it quietly brings back a meaningful share of lapsed clients.

None of this needs a discount. It needs timing, a name, and a booking link.

Memberships turn seasons into steady revenue

In the Capital Region, aesthetics demand moves with the calendar. Spring wedding season. Saratoga's summer track season, when Broadway fills up and everyone has somewhere to be. The holiday party stretch. Then a January slump.

A simple membership smooths the slump: a monthly amount that banks toward treatments, plus a perk members actually value, like priority booking in July or a facial each quarter. Members come back because they've already paid. Your revenue stops depending on how loud your next promo is.

Then spend on new clients, and spend smarter

Once the back door is closed, new-client ads get much more efficient, because each client you buy is worth several visits instead of one. That's when it makes sense to push harder on:

  • Google for high-intent searches like "lip filler Saratoga" or "Botox Albany," landing on a page that shows real before-and-afters, the injector's credentials, and pricing ranges.
  • Your Google Business Profile, with fresh photos of the space and reviews that mention the provider by name and the treatment.
  • Instagram and TikTok as proof, not just pretty pictures: injector education, honest healing timelines, and real client stories (with consent).

The aha: if your rebooking rate goes up, every ad you run gets cheaper in hindsight.
