AI

AI agents are coming for your busywork. Let them.

Agents that answer leads, book calls and update your CRM aren't science fiction anymore. Here's where they actually earn their keep, and where they still need a human.

For two years "AI" mostly meant a chat window. You typed, it answered, you copied and pasted. Useful, but it never actually did anything.

That's changing. The newest wave of tools are agents: AI that can take actions on your behalf: reading an inbox, filling in a form, updating a spreadsheet, sending a follow-up. For a small team, that's the difference between a clever toy and an extra employee.

Where agents pay off right now

The best jobs for an agent share three traits: they're repetitive, they follow rules you could write down, and a mistake is cheap to fix.

  • Lead triage. A new inquiry comes in. The agent reads it, scores how serious it is, tags it in your CRM and drafts a reply for you to approve.
  • Booking and reminders. Back-and-forth over meeting times is pure overhead. Agents handle it well.
  • Reporting. Pulling numbers from ads, analytics and email tools into one weekly summary is exactly the kind of tedious stitching agents are good at.
  • First drafts. Proposals, follow-ups, social posts. Not the final word, but a running start.

Agents are the difference between a clever toy and an extra employee.

Where you still want a human

Anything involving money, legal language, or a relationship you can't afford to bruise. Agents are confident even when they're wrong. The winning setup is agent drafts, human approves, at least until you trust the workflow.

How to start without breaking anything

  1. Pick one workflow that eats at least two hours a week.
  2. Write the rules down the way you'd explain them to a new hire.
  3. Run it in "draft mode" for two weeks: the agent proposes, you click send.
  4. Measure the time saved, then decide whether to give it more rope.

That's exactly how we roll out AI integration for clients: one workflow at a time, plugged into the tools you already use, with a human in the loop until the numbers say otherwise.
